I have been working on the music for a dance piece called ‘Rowdies In Love’ by the ineffable Hari Krishnan from iNDANCE (Canada/USA). Its an edgy, Bharatanatyam influenced contemporary work that explores queer intimacy as well as the clichés of hyper-masculinity. It’s been a real blast composing the score for this work. The music is rhythm and bass heavy but interspersed with gentler, more textural moments. The work will be showcased at Jacobs Pillow. Link to more info below.
