If you’ve been following you will have seen me scoring work by a huge variety of directors. Isn’t it inevitable that after a while I would start thinking – what could I do behind a camera?
About 3 weeks ago i was walking in covent garden market and noticed my shadow on a white wall. I stopped and in a moment of bizarre narcissism (as my friend DJ Nihal put it) i had an idea! I would shoot my next music video using shadows. This was shot in my living room using a canon 70D and a £10 flood light that i bought from B&Q. I created the FX in FCPX and various external plugins.
